Things have certainly taken a dramatic turn lately, haven't they? Oh, don't worry, we'll be getting back to our regularly scheduled silliness soon enough.
For those of you who are in any way surprised at this turn of events, might I point out that, originally, Gavin's defining characteristic was his awful and completely uncontrolled temper. And he hasn't exactly been having a good time lately, so... He may not be in the mindset to laugh all of this off right now, is what I'm saying.
Still messing with the art, and saving a lot of changes for the next artistic overhaul. Myke's actually due for several touch-ups regarding colour and design, and several other characters are in need of similar tweaks. I'm really eager to get Myke done, though, what with him being kind of an important character for me personally, sort of, y'know?
Still, I've made everything a little more vibrant and I think I'm getting better at this, so it keeps looking nicer with each page, I think. My pen died just asI was finishing this. I think I may switch to a thicker one, and draw larger, shorter, and marginally more frequent comics anyway, though.
Marginally. :/ Seriously, I'm trying to get these out quicker, but they get more complicated with each page, and frankly I'm putting a lot more effort into them now that Ideo has become my central project. Incidentally, this is by FAR the most time-consuming page yet. I hope it shows. ^^;
OH! I almost forgot! Cameos!
The pink fox is Vyren "Vyveh" Crowrath, who comes to us from :iconlovely-vixen:, the winner of the "create-a-Beastly" contest and whose designs will be used in the comic later on. And for the first runner up, the guy with the red hair is :iconredandbluereviews:'s Red Sorcerer, here displayed once again as the Red Ninja from that martial arts movie Gavin watched, complete with joke recall. The third cameo is :iconrukikato:'s Ryoku Hikari, the kitty on the left, a prize for the kiriban I ran previously. Took long enough, eh?
And to top it all off, it's the return of Marcia! Yey!

Yooooooo, I'm glad to see Ideopolis is back! Looks like you've been busy. 8-)

The characters are very colorful. I mean, nice colour variety there. Seems even bigger than before.

So... Gavin seems to be powerin' up now, eh? I wonder how Beastly will react. Would I be wrong to assume that he'll transform pretty soon?
The contest winner was Lovely-Vixen, right? I'm lookin' forward to seein' what sort of form she made up for Beastly.

Here she comes to save the day! By yammering on and bothering the ninja with stupid little details like "waaah boo hoo my boyfriend is getting beaten to death waaaaah he's clearly bleeding internally and no one is calling an ambulance nyaaaaah blah blah bloopy blaaah"
Maybe they should call the waambulance. SHEESH. T______T
The Plot Twist totally needs to be a dance. 8D

Yeah, depending on how I end up pacing this thing, we should seeing a full transformation from Beastly in a page or two.
I wouldn't say he's "powering up," more like... "super pissed off." All those effects are just metaphorical. Or, as Banzai claims he can see Gavin's spirit, maybe that last panel is just in ninja-vision. 8D
